Mobile network operator, NetOne, says churches must adopt information and communication technologies to enable “spiritual growth” and easier and faster dissemination of information.
Speaking during the official handover ceremony of an administration block which they partnered to build for a Salvation Army Church in Glen Norah, NetOne Acting Chief Executive Officer, Brian Mutandiro said ICTs were an effective tool for positive communication and churches should ensure the use of technology for ease of communication.
Mutandiro said with the advent of technological growth, churches should not be left behind.
“With the advent of technological growth, churches should not be left behind. Adoption of ICTs by churches will enable easier and faster dissemination of information.
“The same ICTs are an effective tool for positive communication which will ensure spiritual growth and thus bringing of more souls to Christ,” he said.
He said in fighting to bring more souls to Christ, the company had affordable opportunities.
“This is the time for churches to embrace ICTs and this can be made easier through our NetOne products,” Mutandiro said.
