Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s protégé Reverend Tom Amenkhienan jetted into the country yesterday with a special message that God will soon bring his blessings to Zimbabwe with testimonies abound for years to come.

Pastor Chris is set to visit Zimbabwe for the first time for the Global Worship and Communion Miracle Service set for the National Sports Stadium in Harare on May 7.

Preparations for the global church service — the second one in the church after the one held recently in the United Kingdom — had intensified as Amenkhienan together with Evangelist Teddy Owase, jetted in to oversee the progress.

“The message from the man of God Pastor Chris for Zimbabwe is that this is the time for Zimbabwe,” Reverend Tom told a press conference soon after arrival at the Harare International Airport.

“God is bringing His blessings upon this nation and after this service, the man of God is going to pray for Zimbabwe.

“He comes with the power of the Holy Spirit and with the blessings from God for the nation, which will affect everybody and everybody should be expectant and expect and be ready to receive from God.”

He said testimonies for Zimbabwe would follow from that moment to the coming years after the programme.

Over 75 000 locals and foreign visitors from as far as India have reportedly registered online to attend the service.

Amenkhienan is Oyakhilome’s right-hand man. Oyakhilome is the founding president of Christ Embassy, a Bible-based Christian ministry headquartered in Nigeria.

In the last three decades, the church has made a huge global impact with an ever-widening scope and expansive programming around the world.

In broadcasts being aired on television, Oyakhilome said: “I can tell you the presence of the Lord will be all over that country. Zimbabwe is a special country. I can tell you it’s a special nation and when I come, I will tell you how special you are.”
