HMetro reports that popular radio personality, Tichafa Augustine Matambanadzo also known as Tich Mataz prophesied after being prayed for and anointed a prophet by controversial prophet Paul Sanyangore on Sunday.

In February, Mataz visited Sanyangore’s church which led some to speculate that he was looking for spiritual help following his legal challenges with the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra).

Mataz reportedly received prophecies and delivered them to some women in the church after Sanyangore prayed for him before directing him to listen to prophetic voices on his phone which he delivered to the people. Said Mataz:

“I was amazed, actually shocked. There is a living God and you have to believe. God makes things happen and there was impartation.”

Asked if Tich Mataz is now a prophet, Sanyangore said:

“It should not come to you as a surprise that Tich delivered prophetic messages, the spirit of the Lord can be shared and people can prophesy. At one point the Israelites asked is Saul among the prophets now?”

Tichafa Augustine Matambanadzo who is affectionately known as ‘Tich Mataz’ and or ‘Midas Touch’ is a disc jockey-cum-businessman. He is also a television personality and is also a prominent Master of Ceremony (MC) who has hosted many events.
