The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

Theme: Sunningdale Marketing Mall and the official handover of the refurbished Seke South Clinic in Chitungwiza consecutively.

Both ceremonies will be held on 1st of October 2016 at Sunningdale Marketing Mall from 0900hrs to 1100hrs and at Seke South Clinic in Chitungwiza from 1100hrs to 1300hrs, under the theme “Community Partnership.”

Mormon Helping Hands is a priesthood directed church program that provides organized opportunities for Church members to give their time and talents to bless those in need. It also gives members the opportunity to beautify city streets, parks, schools, and recreational areas and to serve in other ways, showing that the Church is a friend to the community.

Each year, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints provides service to communities and other people (not of our faith) across the globe as part of the Church’s Mormon Helping Hands Programme. In 2015 the church through this Programme refurbished Highfields Clinic while in 2014, the Church partnered with Harare City Council and repainted the Harare Town House, and had a Clean Up Campaign with the Council in the Harare CBD.
