Bulawayo gospel music has been on the rise since 2008, as more groups like Worship Addicts and Family Voices have emerged.

Abigail Mwembe who recently performed at a concert alongside Family Voices started singing gospel in 2005.

Her new album Makabongwe is to be launched this month. “From the time I began, I have matured and since then the reception of people to my music has been overwhelming,” Mwembe said.
