Gospel musician Charles Charamba was the centre of attraction at Harare Gardens on Sunday afternoon after he gave a memorable performance.
The show, which was organised by Patson Chimbodza of Chipaz Promotions, saw Charamba, Matheus Mhere and Jah Prayzah sharing the stage.
Charamba’s song Machira Chete became the ultimate winner of the show as it kept hundreds of people that thronged the venue on their toes.
Other songs that stole the hearts of many were Nyika yeZimbabwe, Rute, Komborerai Vana and Tichazovei.
Harare Gardens is one of Charamba’s favourite venues in the capital and the show was his first one this year.
Speaking on the sidelines of the show, Charamba said he was happy that he managed to meet his fans for the first time this year.
“Since I have finished my studies, my focus is now on Fishers of Man and we will be giving our fans the best,” he said.
Mhere had a good day in office and his songs Favour, Chipositori and Munongotichengeta were very popular with the crowds.
Jah Prayzah signed off the show with his usual energetic stagework.
Show promoter Chimbodza said he was happy to host such an event that saw musicians from different genres sharing the stage.
“Indeed it was a family fun day that saw gospel musicians sharing the stage with a circular artiste and the attendance can tell how the people loved it,” Chimbodza said.
He urged fans to continue giving support to the artists.
