Harare Magistrate, Hosea Mujaya Friday 31 January postponed judgment in a case in which Independent End Time Message founder, Robert Martin Gumbura.

Gumbura is facing nine counts of raping six female members of his church.

The pastor denies the rape allegations against him claiming that he had consensual sex with the women.

Mujaya said he was still compiling paperwork for the judgment.

“The verdict has been postponed to 31 January as l am still compiling paperwork to the matter,” said Mujaya.

Jonathan Murombedzi is appearing for the state.

Gumbura (56) has been in custody since November 2013 is being represented by lawyer Rekayi Maphosa.
