Jehova’s Witnesses district overseer in Kwekwe Pastor Lloyd Chikwere urged fellow Christians assembled for a day at Manunure High School to safeguard their conscience in everything they do.

“We should be firm and resolute in safeguarding our conscience so that it would [not] mislead us in doing unholy things such as gayism, lying,” he said.

David Chibvamushure, who is news representative with Jehova’s Witnesses, said that this was a special day since it drew together congregations in the circuit. “Congregations from places such as Amaveni, Rutendo, Torwood, Zhombe, Munyati and other towns are here present.”

The special day assembly is the first of the three assemblies that are held each year by Jehova’s Witnesses. The second assembly is a two-day circuit convention and the last convention is a district assembly which is three days long.
