The Zimbo Jam reports that the much anticipated Nicole C. Mullen show in Bulawayo was cancelled because the authorities in charge of the venue have stopped hosting musical events there.

Promoter of the tour and director of Crossline Music and Video, Pastor Herman Chimusoro said, “We have cancelled the Bulawayo show because we could not pursue a new venue with the time we have left. We would have loved Nicole to be in Bulawayo but it is unfortunate that circumstances could not allow us although we had done part of the necessary arrangements.”

The Harare shows are still going on as scheduled on May 28 and 29 at the Celebration Centre.

The Grammy-Award-winning musician is making her way into the country for the second time having come in November 2010 for a show at the Borrowdale Race Course which was well received.

The cancellation of the show only extends the wait for Bulawayo residents to have a feel of American gospel musicians as the city has been left out in these shows thus far leading to an outcry from residents there.
