
Trinity United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro,TN hosts a delegation from the Mutare-based Africa University this September.
In the United States of America, Middle Tennessee United Methodists will celebrate the many contributions of church-related Africa University during September. Alumni, administrators and advocates of the Mutare-based university will visit 16 Middle Tennessee churches during the annual joint meeting of the Africa University board development and advisory development committees.
Trinity United Methodist Church in the Nashville metro area, and 15 other Middle Tennessee churches will host speakers, including the vice chancellor of Africa University, to thank congregations for their faithful support of this important mission outreach of the United Methodist Church. Trinity will host Vice Chancellor Fanuel Tagwira and Shirley Drake Byers, a member of the advisory development committee.
Tagwira will speak at the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services, and Byers will make a presentation to the adult Sunday school class. In addition, Kevin Goodwin will speak at Kedron United Methodist Church and at Locks Memorial UMC.
