Obert Mazivisa & the Trumpet Echoes, as well as Comfort Manyame are nominees for this year’s Africa Gospel Music Awards (AGMA). AGMA was launched in 2010. This year’s ceremony will be held in London on July 9.
Obert Mazivisa has ministered at a wide range of events with his backing team, The Trumpet Echoes, for over 12 years. This group performs gospel, praise and worship, and love songs.
The Trumpet Echoes is a group of expert musicians and vocalists who possess individual unmatchable talent. Their musicians include 2 sons of a Zimbabwean music legend, Zex Manatsa – Aaron and Takunda.
They are currently on tour across the British Isles. Obert Mazivisa & The Trumpet Echoes are managed by Kudakwashe Cayenne.
Comfort Manyame. Jonathan Wutawunashe of the Family Singers, arguably one of the earliest pioneering families of gospel music in Zimbabwe, reviewed Comfort’s latest album Draw Me Near (Dururai) in the most intriguing way.
