“I saw God there. More than I had seen God ever in my life. It’s changed the way I shop, it’s changed the way I buy food, the way that I eat in general. It’s changed the way I teach,” says one of The Meeting House of Canada volunteers to Zimbabwe.

Another volunteer found that the experience in Zimbabwe had challenged him in how he gives and in how he uses his money, how he uses his time.

While their counterpart became even more convinced that she wants to pursue a career in global health.

Last year, they were part of a small team sent by the Canadian church to Bulawayo to spend time learning about Mennonite Central Committee and its partner organizations there.
